Enhancements to Network Video Recorder Platform from Verint Video Intelligence Solutions Support Migration to IP and Reduce Video System Total Cost of Ownership

Nextiva EdgeVR Adds Host of Hybrid Analog/IP, Interoperability and Virtual Presence Capabilities to Its Enterprise-Class NVR Solution

MELVILLE, N.Y., March 11, 2010 — Verint® Systems Inc. today announced enhancements to Nextiva® EdgeVR™, the enterprise-class IP-based network video recorder (NVR) series from Verint® Video Intelligence Solutions™. New patent-pending hybrid analog/IP capabilities, advanced integrations and virtual presence functionality demonstrate Verint’s ongoing investment in and innovation around its Nextiva EdgeVR Series, along with its focus on delivering reliable, scalable and flexible solutions to help today’s security operations meet their evolving infrastructure and interoperability requirements.

Hybrid Analog/IP Option Offers Scalability
Verint’s Nextiva EdgeVR supports up to 32 IP and analog video inputs. With the availability of new hybrid analog/IP video capabilities, organizations have the flexibility to migrate to IP, while leveraging their existing analog infrastructures—providing a true IP solution that can scale to meet challenges today and in the future.

Additionally, by leveraging the integrated Nextiva EdgeVR with Verint’s Nextiva S1800 Series video encoders, organizations need only one Nextiva EdgeVR with 32-channels compared with the typical two 16-channel digital video recorder system. Such structure affords security operations a more simplified and cost-effective way to manage their video systems for superior performance, efficiency and value.

Industry-Leading Interoperability
Nextiva EdgeVR also offers full integration with Verint’s IP camera portfolio, as well as a wide range of IP and megapixel cameras from other leading camera manufacturers. Such interoperability provides organizations with the flexibility to choose from a wide selection of IP cameras to meet their requirements. As a result, the new Nextiva EdgeVR provides efficient deployment, easy maintenance and low total cost of ownership.

Virtual Presence Saves Time
Additionally, users can send and play pre-recorded audio messages through Nextiva EdgeVR. With this capability, organizations can monitor their video systems remotely and send appropriate audio messages in response to security scenarios—reducing the need to send security personnel onsite. With such virtual presence and audio messaging alerts, security operations can benefit from a more complete view of operations; an effective, time-saving approach to security and performance; and more real-time, actionable intelligence.

“With these enhancements, Verint continues to provide cutting-edge solutions that offer our customers an open, scalable and complete IP video solution portfolio,” says Elan Moriah, president, Verint Video Intelligence Solutions and Verint® Witness Actionable Solutions® . “Verint has a history of developing innovative, high-quality video solutions for the security market and working with our customers to deliver technology that arms them with the intelligence and efficiencies they need to excel and take their operations to the next level.”
Vancouver TransLink Deploys Nextiva Transit Security Solution from Verint Video Intelligence Solutions

Premier Vancouver Transportation Authority Implements Comprehensive IP Video Solution to Help Ensure Safety and Security Onboard Its Regional Bus Fleet

MELVILLE, N.Y., February 12, 2010 – Verint® Systems Inc. today announced that TransLink, Vancouver’s regional transportation authority, has implemented the Nextiva® Transit video solution from Verint® Video Intelligence Solutions™. Part of a planned, multi-phase security deployment, TransLink’s first investment in the video security technology took place onboard its fixed-route bus fleet to help enhance passenger and operator safety and security.

TransLink serves 21 municipalities in the greater Vancouver region with a fleet of 1,432 buses, two passenger ferries, 210 light rail cars, and five commuter rail trains with 37 passenger cars. This vast network has rapidly grown as it prepares to deliver an estimated one million rides each day during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

The initial implementation, completed in December 2009, includes the installation of Nextiva Transit on 228 electric trolley buses based out of the Vancouver Transit Center. With Verint’s networked video technology, the regional transportation authority is furthering its focus on passenger and driver security, leveraging a reliable, scalable and flexible video platform.

“Translink is pleased to be partnered with Verint as we take forward this important investment across our bus fleet. The Nextiva Transit technology will not only help enhance safety and security by deterring onboard incidents, it also will enable us to provide video support when needed to quickly investigate claims and support law enforcement when prosecution instances occur,” explains Ward Clapham, Chief Officer, TransLink Transit Police.

Leveraging Verint’s Nextiva solution specifically designed for transit operations, TransLink will benefit from the ability to automatically upload video from its buses to the central monitoring system, while providing efficient video management of TransLink’s entire on-board network. With automatic system health monitoring, camera tampering detection and proactive problem notification, Nextiva will help TransLink maintain the highest level of security and safety standards, while meeting stringent compliance regulations.

“We’re pleased to provide TransLink with world-class security capabilities designed to help protect passengers and operators while simplifying and mitigating risk across its vast transit network,” adds Elan Moriah, president Verint Video Intelligence Solutions and Verint® Witness Actionable Solutions®. “As a leading provider of networked IP video solutions, Verint understands the needs of public transportation authorities and is committed to delivering innovative solutions to address their most important security concerns.”

About Vancouver TransLink
TransLink, the South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority, is the organization responsible for the regional transportation network of Metro Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. TransLink also shares responsibility for the Major Road Network (MRN), and regional cycling while serving 21 municipalities in Metro Vancouver. Transit services are delivered primarily through three wholly-owned subsidiaries, utilizing a fleet of 1,432 buses, two passenger ferries, 210 light rail cars, and five commuter rail trains with 37 passenger cars. Created in 1998 and fully implemented in April 1999 by the Government of British Columbia, TransLink is the first North American transportation authority to be responsible for the planning, financing and managing of all public transit in addition to major regional roads and bridges.
Verint Systems Expands Workforce Optimization Suite with Acquisition of Iontas

Desktop Analytics Solutions Measure Application Usage and Analyze Workflows, Improving Staff Performance in Contact Centers, Branches and Back Offices

MELVILLE, N.Y., February 4, 2010 — Verint® Systems Inc. today announced the acquisition of Iontas, a privately-held provider of desktop analytics solutions. Iontas solutions measure application usage and analyze workflows to help improve staff performance in contact center, branch and back-office operations environments. Iontas’ desktop analytics solutions will be tightly integrated into Verint’s Impact 360® Workforce Optimization suite.

“The acquisition of Iontas adds additional innovative analytical capabilities to our workforce optimization suite and strengthens our market leadership position,” says Elan Moriah, president, Verint® Witness Actionable Solutions® and Verint® Video Intelligence Solutions™. “Verint has been working with Iontas for several years, closely watching the emergence of desktop analytics. We’ve already had customer successes together in the market, and are seeing demand for desktop analytics in both the contact center and the broader enterprise.” Adds Moriah, “We believe that we have acquired the clear innovator in desktop analytics, and are delighted to welcome our new Iontas colleagues to Verint.”

DMG Consulting LLC, a firm specializing in contact centers and real-time analytics, projects that desktop analytics, an internally-oriented analytics solution, will begin to see increased adoption in 2010/2011.1 Defined by the firm as “an automated and systemic approach to monitor, capture, structure, analyze, report and react to all agent desktop activity and process workflows,” DMG views the desktop analytics market as a valuable component of the analytically-enabled contact center.2 “It delivers actionable results and recommendations for both contact center and back-office operating areas that, if addressed, can yield significant cost savings, improved quality and a better overall customer experience,” comments Donna Fluss, president, DMG Consulting. “Iontas is a pioneer in the concept and functionality for what has become desktop analytics. Desktop analytics is a high-value application that is increasingly considered a component of workforce optimization suites.”

Iontas has built innovative solutions and holds a commitment to helping organizations increase productivity and reduce costs. “We do this by improving the performance and effectiveness of key business processes throughout their organizations,” says Joe Stockton, company founder, chairman and CEO, Iontas.

“As part of the greater Verint Systems organization, Iontas’ solutions will help further enable companies to realize significant gains in process productivity, efficiency and effectiveness when variability is eliminated and everyone consistently executes the same best practices in their processes,” explains Stockton. “These solutions deliver process improvement value based on achieving process visibility, consistency and control in existing business processes, without the need for risky process change.”

With this combination, current Verint Systems customers can extend their technology investment from the contact center to measure and further optimize other areas of the enterprise that impact the customer experience, such as back-office claims processing, and sales and services activities in a bank branch.

Verint acquired Iontas for approximately $14.8 million in cash (net of cash and net assets acquired) and potential additional earn-out payments tied to certain targets being achieved over a two-year period.
Verint to Provide Selected Unaudited Financial Information on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 After Market Close

MELVILLE, N.Y., Jan 28, 2010 — Verint® Systems Inc. (VRNT.PK) today announced that it will be providing selected unaudited financial information on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 after market close for the years ended January 31, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Update on Financial Filings
The Company is now substantially complete with its Comprehensive 10-K document for the years ended January 31, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and had expected to file it this week. However, the Company is currently not in a position to file its Comprehensive 10-K because of an unexpected recent change in the allocation of net operating loss carryforwards ("NOL") it received from Comverse Technology, Inc. ("Comverse"), its majority stockholder, for the year ended January 31, 2003 and earlier years (i.e., prior to Verint's initial public offering).

To the extent that the Comverse NOLs would require further modification, the portion allocated to Verint may also be modified. Certain other changes at Comverse could also affect Verint. Therefore, while Verint is substantially complete with its Comprehensive 10-K, it will only be in a position to file after receiving the necessary information from Comverse.

"We look forward to providing selected unaudited financial information next week, and completing our filings as soon as possible," said Dan Bodner, Verint's CEO and President.
This press release contains "forward-looking statements" within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, including statements regarding expectations, predictions, views, opportunities, plans, strategies, beliefs, and statements of similar effect relating to Verint Systems Inc.'s expectations with respect to the timing of the filing of its financial statements and the possible consequences if it is unable to meet such timing. These forward-looking statements are not guarantees of future performance and they are based on management's expectations that involve a number of risks and uncertainties, any of which could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed in or implied by the forward-looking statements. LONDON, UK and MELVILLE, N.Y., January 19, 2010 – Verint® Systems Inc. today announced that London Overground Rail Operations Ltd. (LOROL) is in the process of implementing the Nextiva® IP-based video solution from Verint® Video Intelligence Solutions™ across 40 stations. The solution is being delivered in partnership with Amey, itself a key partner of LOROL and Network Rail.

LOROL, a joint venture between MTR Corporation of Hong Kong and Deutsche Bahn AG of Germany, was formed to create a world-class transportation system for London. Verint will deploy more than 1,500 Nextiva IP cameras integrated with its Nextiva Video Management software. The solution is designed to enhance passenger safety, deter vandalism and crime, and improve passenger rail travel experiences.

The Nextiva solution will be integrated to a series of platform-based passenger “help-points” across the network of stations, with video managed from a central control room in London.

LOROL selected Nextiva in August 2009 based on its proven application in the rail industry, according to Alistair Shutler, software manager, consulting for Amey. “Verint demonstrated the ability to provide end-to-end IP solutions and integrate seamlessly with other technologies on the network,” he explains. “The technical understanding of IP and CCTV that Verint has demonstrated, combined with the quality, robustness and reliability of the technology, were key factors in its appointment.”

“Our expertise in this sector, working with some of the biggest names in the rail industry across Europe, has been recognized by London Overground Rail Operations, and we are delighted to be working together on this initiative," says David Parcell, managing director, EMEA, Verint Systems.

About London Overground Rail Operations Ltd.
