These professional IP box cameras deliver resolution at fifteen times greater than a standard definition VGA camera, and more than double the resolution of a1080p camera. The S5250 devices boast cutting-edge imaging capabilities and an automatic removable IR cut filter provides for optimum clarity in low-light environments or where secondary infrared is used. Multiple streams and support for H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression technologies optimize use of valuable bandwidth and storage. Additionally, five megapixels allow for maximum performance and coverage of large outdoor areas such as airports, schools, power stations and retail parking lots.

S5250 IP cameras are designed for easy, secure and cost effective installation. Full Power Over Ethernet capability reduces wiring and installation costs, and analog out reduces setup and tuning, and advanced features such as on-board camera storage and bi-directional audio support add new dimensions to the capability of your surveillance system. Cameras can be configured using an on-board Web browser interface, Nextiva EdgeVR or Nextiva Control Center. The S5250BX-DN 5 MP box camera comes complete with a 2.8-12mm lens that is both 5 MP and day/night rated.
